We are really proud to announce that the school has been awarded the Bronze Level in the Healthy Places Award.

This has been achieved by staff, children, governors and parents working together to make our school a healthy place to learn.

Walk to School Day

We have decided to have a Walk to School Day each term.

Today, all children were encouraged to walk to school.

Year 5 had a competition to design a sticker to give out.

Our Health and Safety Heroes organised a group of children to count everyone at the gates.

Remembrance Service

The whole school came together, to think about service men and women all over the world, who protect us now and in the past. We showed our respect by having a minute’s silence at 11 o’clock.

We had visitors to our Parents’ Evening to encourage children to try different

Drugs Awareness Education

Year 5 and 6 had a Theatre Workshop from CADES to learn about the dangers of drugs.

How’s the garden getting on?

Y5 have been busy planting beetroot and rocket, they are having to water it every day.
