Drugs Awareness Education

Year 5 and 6 had a Theatre Workshop from CADES to learn about the dangers of drugs. The children had a chance to do role play and discuss what they had learned


Parents have their say!

A group of interested parents met with Tracy Gunay from Extended Schools and Lesley Bebbington to discuss ideas and concerns they had. They met in the Community Room at Tesco. Why not come along to the next meeting? ALL WELCOME  


Year 5 Parliamentary Awareness Workshop

Ade from GTFC has been busy working with Year 5 . They have been learning all about our Parliament and how laws are made.


Welcome Back

Things are going well around the school…….. Year 4 have taken on the Playpod and are doing a great job! Year 5 are busy organising the Healthy Tuck Shop.      


How’s the garden getting on?

Y5 have been busy planting beetroot and rocket, they are having to water it every day. They are really enjoying looking after the garden and maybe even trying some of the produce.  


Race for Life- A BIG Thank you!

The school had a fantastic afternoon raising money for Cancer Research UK. The money is still coming in but so far YOU have raised £1600- WOW! Well done!  


V.E Day celebrations.

The school opened the doors to parents and grandparents to celebrate the  70th Anniversary of V.E Day. We had a street party, special assembly and dressed up.

Playpod Relaunched!

Great News, the whole school have had the chance to see all the new Playpod equipment. FS, Y1 and Y2 enjoyed their first day playing with it. We have new Playpod Leaders from Y5.
